I always knew I wanted to be a dentist, following the same path as my father who practiced here in Kearney for more than 35 years. Dentistry, for me, is about helping others. Each procedure is a chance to touch a person’s life. Whether relieving someone’s pain, improving function, or completing an Invisalign® case, I’m helping someone to smile, and I love that!
Kim and I have practiced together since 1986 and I have loved every day of building this practice. Most of all, I appreciate the trust our patient family has placed in us and how we’re rewarded by their smiles.

I take a range of continuing education courses throughout the year, to stay current on developments and research. I’ve studied Invisalign® clear orthodontic aligner therapy, CEREC® one-day tooth restorations, completed the Pankey Institute’s curriculum, and am a former member of the Seattle Study Club. I currently take courses through Spear Education and The Dawson Academy.
Beyond the Practice
I grew up in Kearney and Kim and I have lived here since 1991. We’ve raised our children and now our grandchildren in the community as well. We feel fortunate to have many members of our extended family living in the area; we love being with them.
I enjoy spending my free time in the outdoors. I also like to travel, work out, and hunt and fish.
Kim and I feel strongly about mission work and undertake missions as often as possible. We’ve traveled the globe to offer dental care and share the love of Jesus Christ in parts of Africa, Romania, Brazil, and Guatemala.
Additionally, I’ve served on the Kearney YMCA board for more than 18 years. I’ve also lead Bible studies, headed up Operation Candy Buy Back for our overseas troops for many years, and coached many youth sports.
