I’m so thankful to be in a profession I love. Working with my husband Mark and our son Garrett has been amazing!
I truly enjoy getting to know my patients personally as I care for their dental needs. I love learning about their lives, their interests and experiences, and seeing their families grow and change over the years. Each person brings new ideas and stories to our office, which broadens my world and makes me a better person and a better provider.
Growing up, I loved working with my hands. If Pinterest had been around when I was a young girl, I would have driven my mom crazy with DIY projects! Combine that creativity and artistry with a love of science, a strong interest in healthcare, and a need to be in a profession that helps others … dentistry was, and is, the ideal fit for me!
Education

- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry
Each year I complete many hours of continuing education, studying general dentistry, as well as topics that have included Invisalign® orthodontic aligners and CEREC® one-day tooth restorations. I have completed the Pankey Institute curriculum, am a past member of the Seattle Study Club, and currently study through the Dawson Academy and Spear Education.
Beyond the Practice
I grew up in rural Nebraska and have lived in Kearney with Mark and our family since 1991. We have enjoyed so many things during our marriage and working together, but the best thing we have been blessed with is our family!
Mark and I both enjoy finding things to do outside. We also like working out, cooking together, and traveling. We’re mission minded; Mark and I have provided dental care and shared the love of Jesus Christ around the world, from Africa to Romania, Brazil, Guatemala, and other areas. It’s what makes us happiest!
I’ve also been active in women’s Bible studies, have been our kids’ biggest cheerleader, and had the opportunity to teach as a part-time clinical faculty member at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry.
